Wexford Inner Relief Road

Wexford inner relief road was constructed to provide upgraded access to Wexford General hospital together with the newly located Department of Environment and Wexford County Council offices. It also incorporated extensive works to re-configure and extend parking facilities at the hospital.

NBC construction works included detailed liaison between several stakeholders to ensure smooth running of the hospital. The emergency 999 line ran through the earthworks and it was imperative that this was maintained in service. In addition works were carried out adjacent to overhead HV electric cables.
