New Ross Library Park

The New Ross Library Park was designed and overseen by the Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medallist Mary Reynolds. The hard landscaping, amphitheatre and sculptures of Liam O’Neill augment the natural garden design. The multi award winning project brings new life into what had been a derelict site in the town.

NBC as main contractor had to work to the strict instructions of the client and their representatives. It was a combination of hard and sharp landscaping mixed with the environmentally friendly gardens that made this a particularly challenging project. It demonstrated a different side to civil engineering contracting that was a welcome change.
